TimeOut London, can't bookmark on my iOS5
I've recently installed TimeOut London, the app is great, but got a problem...can't bookmark on my iPhone OS5. That's a pitty!

I can't seem to bookmark anything in the Timeout Paris iPhone app. Am I dense or is there a bug in the app? Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks

I've just downloaded your Time Out App Paris (the Travelguide in english, not the french Version), I think it's 1.2.2, but the bookmarking does not work properly. You can't add anything to the bookmark page. Could you please fix that? Thanks form BambiTambi

I have the same problem with the Time Out London app - both on my iPhone 4s and on my iPad.
Any chance you can fix this? I'm going to London next month and would love to be able to use this app, but right now it doesn't do me much good. -

Thanks for your comments. We are aware of this bug and appreciate that it's frustrating to not be able to use this helpful feature. We want it working as much as you do.
In short, our Travel apps were originally built by a 3rd party who we no longer work with. Right now our internal dev team are working hard on delivering some exciting new products and can't dedicate time to this.
We will prioritise this fix as soon as we can. Thanks for your understanding. -

Dear Sophie - Thanks for reply. However, even if free, there is not much point in offering apps where the most basic and essential functionality (which is also included in the app description) does not work and users waste their time trying to get it to work and you basically say that your developers have better things to do than to fix it. I love and subscribe to Time Out London and have bought many of your printed city guides, which are great ... I am a fan but I find this app approach unprofessional and brand-damaging. By the way: I personally would prefer to pay for such an app and have it working. Well, now I will have to look for other apps ... Regards.

Thanks mr. That was my first thought as well, and I was returning to write just that. You spared me having to type it all out.
Sophie, you'd be better off removing the app completely from the iTunes store, or - at the very least - updating the description, so people don't download it in vain.
I'll be looking elsewhere for my apps as well. -

I love your app but the bookmark page and action do not work at all. I have an itouch 4th gen running the latest iOS 5 version. please, pretty please fix ASAP. apparently I am not the only one with this problem.

appalled that Time Out is taking money for a falsely advertised app.
Sophie - your reply is troubling. You admit your app is fundamentally flawed and that it is unlikely to be fixed soon, yet you continue to market it as-is and take money from people knowing full-well they are buying something falsely advertised. I, like many others here, bought the app solely because of the bookmarking function. Either fix the problem, change the description or remove the app from the App Store.

Hi guys, I would just like to re-iterate that the apps are FREE and very highly rated by the majority of users. They contain thousands if expertly written reviews. We feel it would be a shame to remove the apps entirely because of the bookmarking bug for iOS 5 users. However we do accept that it's serious flaw and are working to find a solution.

Alastair and Sophie, you really, really, really ought to update the app description to say that bookmarks don't work on iOS 5! Sure, not everybody would read it, but it would help a LOT of people get less frustrated. It's really unprofessional to know of a bug and yet "ignore" it for purposes of a description.
... if you have added the information within the last month, I thank you, and this is of course moot. It wasn't there when I last looked, but I haven't checked since. -
